A stunning  new exhibition  will explore the  history of  the bridal gown - and we've got a preview for you!

An  exhibition  launching  at  the  V&A  next  spring will  explore  the  history  of  the  wedding dress and we've taken a sneak peek at what you can expect to see.

The  stunning  new  display,  Wedding  Dresses  1775-2014,  will  follow  the  evolvement  of  the wedding gown over the last 250 years, with a focus on the changing styles in bridal fashion.

Featuring over 80 of the most romantic, unique and iconic wedding gowns, the exhibition includes the dress worn by a wealthy farmer's daughter in 1780, a wedding favour from the reign of Victoria I and an embroidered silk gown created by Normal Hartnell.

More  recent  pieces  include  the  wedding  outfit  worn  by  The  Duchess  of  Cornwall  in  2005, Dita  Von Teese's purple Vivienne Westwood gown and the Dior gown and suit worn by Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale at their 2002 wedding.

Choose the style of your Wedding dress. The 1920’s Wedding dress and hair style would be classic and stunning….
