You  know  your  bride  is  busy  organizing  a gown  fit  for  a  princess,  which  means  she  is  expecting  a prince at the end of the aisle. With our tips you won’t disappoint. Which suit is suitable?

Which suit is suitable?
Regular suit –  appropriate for casual weddings.  You can wear a classic business suit, shirt and tie or
simply stylish pants with a nice shirt.

Morning  suit  –  perfect  for  those  formal  daytime  weddings.  This  attire  consists  of  a  grey  cutaway tailcoat,  grey  striped  or  black  trousers,  grey  or  black  double  breasted  vest,  white  shirt  and  grey  or white cravat or long tie. You can also complete your look with a silk top hat.

Black  tie  –  the  garb  of  choice  for  formal  evening  weddings.  It  comprises  a  black  single  or  double breasted  jacket,  matching  trousers,  a  white  winged  collar  shirt,  a  black  vest, cummerbund,  a  black formal tie and white pocket-handkerchief. You can also choose to break the black-and-white look with a coloured vest, tie and pocket-handkerchief.

White  tie  –  the  most  formal  wedding  attire.  It  is  rarely  worn  in  Australia,  but  the  ladies  will  love  it! White  tie  calls  for  a  black  tailcoat,  matching  trousers,  white  wing-collared  shirt,  white  vest,  white bowtie and white gloves.

Make sure you get a perfect fit
A perfectly fitted suit will ensure you are comfortable all day from when you wait for your princess at the altar to when you waltz the night away on the dance floor. Your suit fits well if:

You can button up your jacket easily – no tightening of fabric around shoulders, chest or stomach.
Sleeves come down to the base of your thumbs.Trousers sit on your waist without the help of a belt. The leg is long enough to rest on the top of the heel of the shoe.

Consider your body shape
If you are stocky, avoid long jackets, as they will accentuate your size.
If you have a large chest, wear a double-breasted jacket.
If you are tall and lean, you can get away with anything.
Stripes make you appear taller.
Checks make you look bigger.
Dark colours make you look thinner.

Accessories
You  can  add  extra  pizzazz  with  a  pocket-handkerchief,  cufflinks,  a  belt  with  a  nice  buckle,  a
cummerbund, a hat, shirt studs, a tiepin or a watch. Don’t forget your feet; dress them in some new
stylish dress shoes and dark silk socks.

The groomsmen
Your groomsmen need to  match you, but  not so much that you all appear to be wearing a uniform.
You  still  need  to  stand  out  from  them,  so  there  can  be  no  confusion  who  is  the  lucky  one  marrying the stunner in white.
Play with colours – you may wear a black vest while your groomsmen wear blue ones  for  instance.  You  can  also  shorten  the  length  of  their  jackets.  The  options  are  endless  so  get thinking.

Tips for looking your best
A suit can only go so far –  you also need to be in fine form, so grooming needs to be  just as high on
your priority list.

Skin You will need to buy some cleanser, exfoliating cream, and moisturiser. Wash your face twice a  day with the cleansing gel, exfoliate to remove dead cells once a week, and moisturise daily. With this routine your face will be sure to glow.

Hair  Use  a  quality  shampoo  and  conditioner  to  make  sure  your  hair  stays  healthy.  Get  your  locks trimmed a week before at your favourite salon.

Shaving  Steer  clear  of  electric  shaver  –  they  are  not  good  enough  for  that  special  occasion.  Make sure once you have shaven to apply some nice after-shave.

Some extras  Visit your dentist a few weeks prior and get your teeth professionally cleaned. Keep a
mint  spray  handy  on  the  day  for  all  those  wedding  kisses.  If  you  really  want  to  go  all  the  way  with grooming,  pop  into  a  beauty  salon  for  a  tanning  session,  a  massage,  facials,  waxes  or  even pedicures. You can never do too much for the woman of your dreams.
